Rana Kirkland: Vids4Kids Creator and Designer
Rana Kirkland is a native New Yorker who grew up inspired by Broadway plays studying dance, music and theater. When her family moved to Las Vegas Rana continued her artistic studies so it's not a wonder why at the young age of 15, she directed a musical production starring a cast of 30 pre-schoolers at a daycare. It was there she realized that she had a skill and a joy to work with youth. After graduating from USC, she became a working actress starring in shows like "Rhythm And Jam", an ABC Saturday morning show for kids; Guest starring in shows like, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and dozens of regional and highlighted roles National Commercials. After having her child, she ventured back to sharing her artistic skills with youth becoming the owner/operator of Rana's Arts Club in Santa Monica, California which provided artistic enrichment classes for youth as well as yoga. Rana was a forerunner in becoming a certified Youth Yoga Instructor teaching over a thousand kids of all ages and backgrounds including those with special needs. Her award winning children's Yoga videos, "I Can Do Yoga" are in three different languages. Finding a form of free and gentle expression through yoga, led her to become certified in Meditation, then certified in nutrition as deeper ways to enhance natural wellness.
Landing a job as a Yoga teacher, Content Creator and eventually National Director of Advancement for One For Health has been a dream come true for Rana. It gives her the opportunity to find creative ways to bring joy and peace to youth to kids who wouldn't naturally be exposed to educational opportunities like meditation, healthy eating and yoga that foster their well-being. Kids are Kids no matter what they look like, they all can benefit!
