Executive Team

Bruce Campelia, Executive Director and Co-founder, holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, an MBA, and a PhD in Natural Health. Throughout his career he has worked with large corporations and helped in the launch of several high-tech ventures. He also co-founded the Well of Life Center for Natural Health in Pennsylvania, focusing on providing a new sense of wellness to individuals and families through empowerment.
In his role as Executive Director, Bruce oversees the execution of foundation directives, coordinates activities between the board and OFH's partners, works closely as a liaison with all members of the operating team, manages finances and pursues grant opportunities, and develops key relationships with major donors. A USA Masters Track & Field gold medalist, Bruce brings forward an outstanding complement of experience and skills to support his goal of helping others, especially children, attain the highest level of health and joy in their lives.

Rana Kirkland has brought enthusiasm and effectiveness to the organization as the Natonal Director of Advancement. Her experience as a certified nutrition coach; certified meditation guide and 22- year certified youth yoga instructor has motivated her successful work to create and develop the comprehensive Vids4Kids program. After graduating from USC, Rana spent several years as a working actress. This skill set has aided a core aspect in creating the kid friendly yoga, meditation and nutrition videos for the Vids4Kids program. Her background as a 12 year business owner and manager of youth enrichment, gave her the skills to manage the growing number of OFH teachers; market to partner sites, and expand a budgeting network component to keep One For Health growing and serving more underserved youth. She has also developed the Youth Wellness Facilitator Course which virtually guides youth caregivers to advocate for their own wellness and for the youth they serve which offers a certificate of completion. Rana values the One For Health mission and team and looks forward to its continued growth.

Administrative
Shannen Perez comes to One For Health with a wealth of administrative skills. She has already been an advocate to One For Health in the areas of managing site directory, assisting with Facilitator Trainings and organizing the Fundraiser. In her past job experiences she has created long lasting relationships, managed accounts and expanded revenue. Her current work as a certified cybersecurity professional with a background in dance and choir shows her level of integrity and exemplifies her level of creativity. Shannen says, "It's a great honor to be a part of OFH, its amazing team and this beautiful opportunity. It means a lot to me to be able to help spread awareness and educate others with how much children may be affected by their everyday life styles which highlights the importance of mental health awareness." In addition to working part time in administrative capacities for OFH, she is also a youth yoga/nutrition teacher for OFH.

Edward “Ted” A. Dion, Jr received his business degree from Bryant College. He is the Co-Owner & President of E.A. Dion, Inc., a leading manufacturer of award and recognition jewelry. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Attleboro YMCA and the Bristol County Savings Bank, and Co-Chairman of the Legacy of Mercy Capital Campaign.

David C. Foster, CPA, CGMA, CBEC is Managing Partner of John T. Chipman & Company, Certified Public Accountants. He primarily works with business owners to develop, design and execute comprehensive exit and succession plans. He is Vice President of the League School of Greater Boston, a leading educator of children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder.

Steven H. Gardner, MD is an Internist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is also a Director for Camp Jabberwocky, a Martha’s Vineyard based Cerebral Palsy camp.

Dr. Robyn Riseberg is the Founder of Boston Community Pediatrics. She is passionate about helping kids and families and has dedicated her career to advocating for and working with underserved pediatric patients, bringing innovative programs to medicine and collaborating with community organizations to work closely to improve the lives of patients and communities.

Maureen B. Weisner, M.Ed. is a certified professional coach, career development facilitator, seminar leader, speaker, and author, also recognized as a “Top 10 Executive Coach” by Women’s Business Boston. A co-founder of KICKSTART Your Transition, her extensive business knowledge integrates a broad depth of experience drawn from corporate sales training, education and small business ownership.

Kelly M. Browning, is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), a national health charity located in Washington D.C. The institute is the largest national cancer charity focusing exclusively on the relationship of nutrition, physical activity, and weight management to cancer risk. Considered an expert in the direct marketing industry, Mr. Browning is a frequent speaker at industry trade meetings, seminars, conferences, colleges, and universities.

German Lam, is the author of the inspirational book The Dragon Turns to Water. He worked at the Chatham Bars Inn and Harvard Club of Boston prior to becoming Master Chef at the Ritz Carlton. German is a cancer survivor. He is the Founder of Glam Foods and a wellness and lifestyle consultant. He is also an instructor for One for Health’s BestSelf4Kids Program.

Craig Thueson has spent over 25 years in the high-tech industry, including senior positions at Novell and Oracle. He was also VP of Sales at Wave Systems and Wavexpress, a joint venture he co-founded with Bruce Campelia. He recently co-founded Band of Hands, a gig-economy company where he serves as an adviser.

Thomas Miller is the Co-founder of the One for Health Foundation. Tom currently serves as an advisory board member for Get A Grip Golf Foundation and as an advisory board member to Men For A Cause.
Tom lives in Wellesley, MA with his wife, where two of his three children, and five grandchildren, also reside. In 1975 Tom founded T R Miller Co., Inc., a top 5% ranked Distributorship in the $18 billion Promotional Products Recognition and Awards Industry. Tom’s family business has supported numerous charitable organizations, such as Make A Wish, the Massachusetts' Special Olympics, the Jimmy Fund and numerous other non-profit organizations.
Tom is a highly competitive individual who approaches life with a passion and enthusiasm that is reflected in his healthy lifestyle.

Marc Alterio is an adjunct instructor at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies. He holds undergraduate and advanced graduate degrees in educational administration, physical education, and health from Boston University.
He has held leadership positions on local, state, and national boards, including the Massachusetts Board of Education Interdisciplinary Health Advisory Council, Action for Healthy Kids, Maine Course Pathways Curriculum Project, and state and national Associations of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
Marc is involved with, and has evaluated, over 12 Carol White PEP Grants that support school systems and community-based organizations with more than $10 million in federal funding to promote increased physical activity and improved levels of nutrition for students across New England.
Marc resides in South Berwick, Maine.
He has held leadership positions on local, state, and national boards, including the Massachusetts Board of Education Interdisciplinary Health Advisory Council, Action for Healthy Kids, Maine Course Pathways Curriculum Project, and state and national Associations of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
