Meet the Instructors
Monifé Marshall
Monife' has been teaching a Vinyasa style of yoga for over 14 years. She specializes in Yoga for Youth, Prenatal/Post-Partum and Yoga for Seniors. Monife's classes are designed to improve and increase self-awareness, relaxation, mental acuity, flexibility, focus, concentration and endurance for people of all ages, genders and fitness levels resulting in improved overall health. In addition to teaching yoga Monife completed a certification as a Nutritional Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). She provides sessions that include yoga with meditation, and cooking demonstrations that promote healthy food choices and lifestyles. Shannon Fitzgerald
Yoga teacher Shannon Fitzgerald began her yoga journey 11 years ago as a means to balance her busy lifestyle. As a caretaker in hospice, she needed a practice that brought both inner and outer wellness. Having been nurtured through yoga's many paths, she then went on to receive her training in Ashtanga Yoga and Yin yoga at Omega institute 6 years ago. Later, Shannon brought together her two passions. She received her training for Youth Yoga and Mindfulness through the Holistic Foundation at Omega institute. Following her training she opened up a yoga studio and has either started or incorporated youth yoga and mindfulness programs both in and out school’s around Massachusetts. Shannon connects with the children in hopes to bring about a strong sense of self-awareness and self-love. She believes these tools with help our youth thrive in our busy culture. |
Rachel Kelley
Rachel Kelley guides children with an open heart in the practice of Yoga, Breath & Sound Meditation, Somatic & Creative Dance, and Nature Cycles & Connection. Rachel is passionate about helping children learn to self regulate their emotions and make strong choices in their body, with calming movement and breathing techniques. Rachel holds a safe space for children to develop self love and kindness all around. Also encouraging authentic creative expression for positive self esteem, focus, and joy. |
