Health Tips For Back-to-School!

1. Teach good hygiene habits
Before your children head back to school, remind them the importance of hand washing! Washing your hands is one of the best was to defend against germs. Set a good example by washing your hands before meals to encourage your kids to do the same.

2. Set a bed time
Getting 7-8 hours a sleep a night is very important when it comes to the school year. Not getting enough sleep can disrupt focus and energy in children. No matter what age (parents too!) setting a time to head to bed is one great way to stay on track for a healthy school year, and early mornings.

3. Stay active
If possible, encourage your kids to get involved with school sports. Not only is it great exercise, but also teaches teamwork and discipline. Also, try to schedule time to get active with your children with a bike ride, or walk after dinner as much as possible!
