3 Yoga Poses to Help Your Kids (and You!) Cope with School Anxiety

1. Childs Pose
-
This is the most common pose for relaxation in yoga. This pose will help release tension in the neck, shoulder, and back which is where many people feel the physical toll of their stress. This pose also promotes a steady breathing pattern that calms your nervous system.

2. Tree Pose
- This pose forces you to concentrate on your balance and breathing. When all your energy into your balance, your mind won’t stray to the anxiety inducing thoughts that often cloud minds.

3. Leg up The Wall pose
-  It is best to do this pose in an environment that makes you feel comfortable and peaceful. This pose will also help ease lower back pain. You may find it useful to do this with a pillow or blanket under your lower back.
