Do you have trouble getting your kids to try new foods? Maybe they are junk food lovers who only like to snack? Here are just a few tips to get your kids to enjoy eating new, healthy foods!

1. Let them help in the kitchen.
Allow your children to help choose fruits and vegetables that look appealing to them at the grocery store. Have them help you cook and prepare meals to boost their interest in food.  Make cooking fun! If they enjoy cooking the food and are proud of what they created, they will be much more likely to eat it.

2. Be creative.
Use as many colors of the rainbow in your meals. Not only do these different colors offer many different health benefits, but can also be very attractive to kids!

3. Dipping
Having trouble getting your kids to eat vegetables? Let them dip their veggies in their favorite sauces or dressings!

Remember that you control what comes into the house. Eliminate the amount of junk food you get each week, and slowly introduce new foods! Be a good role model and eat meals with your kids!
