Coffee: More Than Just an Energy Boost!

Caffeine is most commonly known to boost your energy levels, but did you know there is a long list of other health benefits that come from this favorite morning beverage? Here are just a few!
 

 











1.Coffee helps burn fat.
Studies show that caffeine can increase metabolic rate by 3-11%. Caffeine also stimulates the central nervous system which activates the breakdown of fat(1).  Coffee is known as one of the best natural fat burning supplements!
                          
2. Coffee reduces stress
Some research shows that even the aroma of coffee beans can reduce stress. One study done at the Seoul National University that examined rats exposed to the aroma has shed light on the effects that the smell has on the brain(2).
 
Coffee is a mild antidepressant that produces neurotransmitters in the brain such as serotonin and dopamine, which are known a “happy” chemicals. A study done at Harvard School of Public health found that drinking 2-4 cups of coffee a day can lower the risk of suicide by 50%(3).
 
3. Coffee is full of important nutrients!
  There are high levels of many essential nutrients in coffee beans that remain present during the roasting process.
  • Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): 11% of the RDA.
  • Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5): 6% of the RDA.
  • Manganese and Potassium: 3% of the RDA.
  • Magnesium and Niacin (B3): 2% of the RDA.

Toenail removal is to be carried out when two common conditions of the nail occur, especially when all other methods of treatment have failed. These two common conditions include ingrown toenails and thickened toenails. Both of these conditions commonly affect the big toe and they share a similar mode of treatment.
